May/June Class Schedule

Classes are $30 per person and include a free pattern or materials unless otherwise specified.  Maximum class size is 10 to ensure a great learning experience.

Students receive a 10% discount on purchases of yarn, fiber, and kits made on the day of class.

Hand painted silk scarves – May 13 10am-12pm

Use Dye-Na-Flow ink dyes on “scarf blanks.” . A choice of one scarf blank  included. Additional scarf blanks available at the studio. Limited to six participants. We provide the dyes and gloves. Wear old clothing or bring an apron. Kathie Adams and Kerry Graber instructors.  Extra $10 materials fee for this class

Falling Stars Hat-May 16 6 to 8 p.m.

Using speckled yarn from our collection we show you a great project that uses this yarn for spectacular results! Instructor Linda Gordon.

Beginning wheel spinning May 20 10am-4pm

Have a wheel but would like to learn the basics of producing a consistent yarn? Want to try wheel spinning?  We will get you started spinning beautifully crafted yarn. Limited number of wheels for loan, please make arrangements prior to class. Fiber for spinning is provided as part of the class fee. Class is instructed by Madison Wallace of Spinner’s Anonymous.

Inca Trail Cowl-May 27 10am-12pm

We paired our own “Willow Tree” yarn, a bulky weight, with this pattern, and we’ve created colorways just for this project. A great way to get started with color work with an experienced instructor and designer. Class is instructed by Linda Gordon.

Cedarbury Cowl-
June 10  10am-12pm

Get started early on Christmas gifts with this simple but impressive cowl. The pattern is included in the class fee. Learn how to make simple cables while making the cowl under the guidance of the designer! Once you’ve learned the pattern you can make these as beautiful gifts. BK Collective designer Jann Hoppler, is the instructor.

Primitive Little People Dolls June 17  9am-1pm

Doll making as an art can be simple and sweet. Doll materials, patterns for doll and clothes patterns provided. Basic hand sewing knowledge helpful but not required. Instructor Kerry Graber
